Message from Andy & Jo
Dear All,
I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for everything you are doing to help and support others within safeguarding. I know it can at times be a challenging area, but since my arrival in May I have been overwhelmed by the amazing work you are doing in this area within your Parishes.
It’s been wonderful to speak with so many of you already, and I look forward to continuing to support you all in the New Year with any concerns or questions you may have. With that in mind, I hope to see as many as you as possible on the new online ‘drop in sessions’ we are starting in the New Year.
The first one is on Wednesday 24th January at 2pm, via Zoom.
Topic: Drop in Session
Time: Jan 24, 2024 02:00 PM London

It is of course optional, you can dip in and out, attend or not as you wish or as commitments/time allows. We hope it will be a good opportunity to bring those involved in Safeguarding together for a meeting where we can discuss any issues, ask any questions, share good practises and generally support each other. I’ve no doubt there’ll be some kinks to iron out as we go, but I think it will hopefully prove to be a good way to connect and support each other.
Obviously the Christmas and New Year can be a difficult time for many people, to assist you in signposting, providing guidance and support to others I have attached a few posters which you could pop up in your Churches, halls, kitchens, toilets, notice boards etc. They’re also a good resource to keep handy over the rest of the year. I’ve also included a couple other useful safeguarding posters in case anyone needs to update any older ones they may have on display.
Church House will be closing on Friday 22nd December and will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
